In addition to the face and hands of Christ, the garments, feet, and foreground of the stained glass window needed considerable conservation and restoration. The garments were cleaned to remove years of soot and dirt, and the feet and foreground of the window needed to be repainted to replace the areas of missing paint. Since very little was left of the original paint, much care was taken to try and match the character of the window.
Pictured below is the result of the restoration of this area.
